Where We Started
BUILT IN
THE FIELD.
Noxtrom.TV Live started as a simple need. Our founder, a media professional noted that a local professional basketball team was looking for a reliable livestream production, and the organization chose Noxtrom.TV Live because other options for livestreaming were priced out of reach for anyone without a national broadcast deal.
In November 2, 2012, he packed a car with camera gear, a laptop and drove to a local arena for the basketball match. The stream that day reached a great number of viewers across Canada. The team had never had a single out-of-stadium viewer before that day.
"THAT FIRST STREAM CHANGED HOW WE THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT 'AUDIENCE' MEANS FOR A LOCAL EVENT."
From that one match, Noxtrom.TV Live grew organically — first through word of mouth among local sports leagues, then into other organizations, corporate events, schools, and concert venues. Today, our crew of several specialists has produced streams for audiences ranging from 200 to 19,000 concurrent viewers.
We've never lost the scrappy, obsessive attitude of that first broadcast. Every event we produce gets treated like it's going on national television — because for the people watching, it is.
